Dear Katie
Yoga tips would be great! I am still loving it. I have been practicing @ home.
Oh about this being a knitting blog...yes...it is but, it is our blog, to show the world that Muslims and Jews have more in common than most people care to think about.
And in our case it means, knitting, love of books, music, and YES even Yoga. LOL

Dear Hanane
Dear Hanane,
Ah, I finally made a post. I have had SEVERAL posts rolling about in my head, and I sit at the computer and poof, gone. I can blame it on so many things, age, the matzo from Passover, the winter weather returning up here, but I won't. I just wanted to check in quick, so you know I am here, and care about the blog. I promise to work on it sometime within a reasonable time period (meaning this century) and see if we can revive the old disappearing blog that we had so long ago. Now I am not only loosing my mind, I am becoming nostalgic too and if you say it is my age (after all I will be 40 this year), I will need to yell at you. Only kidding, I would NEVER yell at you!
I do have some yoga tips for you too.......and I will add those as well. And since this is a knitting blog, I must add knitting content as well, right??? I am designing a scarf with sea silk at the moment although it has taken a back seat to work. Why must life get in the way of my knitting???
We will talk soon,
Katie

Dear Katie,
Hey Girl!
How is it going up towards Bean Town? I am so sorry I didn't answer your email last week but I just got swamped in the school area. 3 count 'em # term papers due all around the same time, the 12th, 17th and the 25th. Talk about crazy!!!!!!
Anyway, I think we should but a blub about us on this blog, if you want to go ahead and do it, I would love you forever! Not that I won't anyway!!!!
Oh Hey I was going to tell ya today when I called that a very interesting thing happened to me at school this week. Well actually a whole crap load of interesting things have been happening at school but this one has more to do with our relationship,,,that is the Muslim-Jew thing.
I was in a senior English class and there was a writing prompt on the over head, it had to do with Muslims and Jews in Israel/Palestine. Terrorism etc.
Well one of the boys in that class asked me if I was Muslim, I said yes and his comment to me was. "You hate Jews right?" I responded with "Don't believe everything you read in black and white!" Well he went on to tell me that he believed that all Muslims hated Jews and all Jews hated Muslims, so I told him about you, A and M who I consider very good friends.
I mean heck aren't we doing a blog here? He was shocked!!!!! I was pleased to have put that little myth to rest in his mind. Now 1 down,,,How many BILLION to go?

Dear Katie
Hey Girl! Well we are officially back from Spring Break! What a crapper deal that was. The teachers piled on the work and I had to work all of spring break. I did, however get some really nice bags made, you can see them on my knitting blog.
I am really liking my job. It has it's days but I could really see me working there full-time. But then I don't know! Do I really want a full-time job? Do I want the hassle? I confess I hate getting up early and now with the time change I feel like I am going to work in the middle of the dang night! 7:15 still dark! YUCK!!!
And please do explain the changing of the time change! I don't get it!
If I were woman of the world this would NOT have happened!
That a few other minor things..... like world hunger, peace in the mid-east, ridding the world of acrylic yarn!!!!
Have a good one
